Standards we follow
PantryPal IQ aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the standard most commonly used to evaluate web accessibility. This includes:
- Sufficient color contrast for text and UI elements
- Keyboard navigation throughout the app
- Screen reader support with ARIA labels and semantic HTML
- Visible focus indicators
- Alternative text for images
- Captions or descriptions where audio content is used
- Forms with proper labels and error messages
- Skip-to-content links on every page
- Resizable text without breaking layout
What we're still working on
We're honest that no website is perfectly accessible. As of the date above, areas we know we're still improving:
- Voice control for hands-free cooking (in development)
- Comprehensive screen reader testing across all features
- High-contrast mode option
- Dyslexia-friendly font option
Compatible technology
PantryPal IQ is tested with the following assistive technology:
- NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom up to 200%
We support the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

- The page or feature where the issue occurred
